  1. 1. What payment methods are available for making deposits and withdrawals to clients' accounts?

Following the successful registration of your clients, you can submit deposit requests using the payment methods TED, PIX, and PIX with QR Code. For withdrawal requests, the available payment methods are TED and PIX. It is important to be aware that Ebury Bank will conduct a screening process to verify the current status of each client before accepting any incoming debit or credit. If any irregularity is detected in the Brazilian client's status, the withdrawal request will be automatically declined.

  2. 2. What’s PIX? What are the functionalities for different users?

Pix is an instant payment system created by the Central Bank of Brazil. It allows individuals and companies to make transfers and payments in seconds, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays. Pix is directly integrated into the Brazilian banking system and is widely accepted throughout the country.

It is a fast, secure, and free way to move money, much more practical than traditional transfers or the use of physical cash.

    Requirements:

    • Customers need to have a bank account in Brazil.
    • The system only works within Brazil, using the Real (R$) as currency.
    • The entire process is done through the Brazilian bank's app — without the need for cards or physical money.

    Types of PIX keys:

    • Email
    • Phone number
    • CPF (equivalent to the Social Security Number)
    • random key generated by the bank

Companies can generate dynamic QR Codes for sales with variable or fixed amounts and reconcile payments using webhooks and automatic transaction feedback.

Payment steps into a Brazilian bank:

    1. Open your bank's app in Brazil.
    2. Select the Pix option in the menu.

    4. Point the camera at the QR Code displayed in the store or website.
    5. Verify the recipient's details.
    6. Confirm the amount (if applicable) and finalize the transaction.

Ebury Bank offers full support for Pix via API.

Visit the API documentation to learn how to integrate.

  3. 3. What are the time windows for deposit and withdraw requests? How are requests outside these hours or on holidays handled?

Suggested Action designated to clients: queue up all TED requests that fall outside the designated time window and ensure that these requests are accumulated and processed the next business day.

  4. 4. What are the steps and important considerations for requesting a withdrawal?

To request a withdrawal, follow these steps and observe the following considerations:

    1. Verify your bank account registration (only for TED): Before initiating the withdrawal request, if you intend to use the "ELECTRONIC_TRANSFER" (TED) payment method, ensure that your Brazilian bank account is registered correctly, strictly following the instructions in the API documentation provided: Bank Account

    2. It is recommended that, during the client registration process on the platform, the bank information from a Brazilian institution is duly registered via API. This measure ensures that the withdrawal via TED is completed without problems. It is not recommended to use deposit data to save customer bank information for future withdrawals to avoid failures due to non-existent or invalid bank accounts for TED.
